Hornindal is a Norwegian kveik strain known for thriving at higher fermentation temperatures and producing bold, expressive character. As fermentation temperatures increase, tropical fruit esters become more pronounced, bringing vibrant notes of tangerine, pineapple, and mango that add depth and intensity to hop forward beers.
Ideal for Double IPAs, IPAs, NEIPAs, Pale Ales, Porters, Red Ales, Stouts, and Imperial Stouts, Hornindal performs best between 28 to 37°C and offers alcohol tolerance of up to 14% ABV.
